Maritza Ebanks: President - the goal is to get rid of all of your cards and the person who gets rid of all of his cards first is the president and the person who does so last is the bum. With a regular deck of cards deal out all the cards (might need an even # of people), and take turns in a circle. The person to the left of the dealer plays, you can play any single card and if you have two of the same card you can play both of those cards down and then the next person has to play doubles if that's what you played. The ranks of the cards from least to greatest 1-9 J Q K. So if the person beside you plays a ! Jack and everyone around the circle passes (because they don't have a queen or a jack or they don't have a higher double, triple etc.). That person gets to play another card, the president gets 2 cards from the bum the next round and the person who wins second last (vice president) get's 1 card from the vice bum.
