Hal Rouse: Any optical cable will work. There is differences in the quality in different optical cables but unlike Coaxial or gauged speaker wires there is very very little difference when running 3-6 feet. Most nice cables have gold plated ends and are simply for show. Mediabridge Toslink Optical Digital Audio Cable is about $7-$12 and would provide the same quality as a $45 high end cable.
