What's your favorite annual in your garden? Perennials? Why??

Ermelinda Stalnaker: Marigolds are my favorite. My mother always had them. She would pinch off the "dead head", and keep them in a jar until the next year. She would just scatter them in the flower bed, and voila! A bed full of fragrant flowers. I have not had as much success as she had, but they remain a sentimental favorite.

Adam Momaya: My favorite annauls are petunias, because they smell so good and attract so many humming birds and butterflies.Perennial favorite are Iris, I have many different colors, they are gorgeous.

Antone Youla: annual: sweet alyssum for scent and morning glory because they are so darlingperennial: Erigeron karvinskianus (Santa Barbara daisy) because it flowers all the time and goes and goes and goeshttp://www.calflora.org/cgi-bin/species_query.cgi?......Show more
