Inell Riesgo: to be accepted as dental hygienist male or female,you have to have had 2 years as qualified dental nurse, chair-side assisting. not many male dental nurses out there but gender is not a problem and as long as you have the requirements then go for it..so being a man is no advantage
Jesse Pirieda: I have honestly never seen a male dental hygienist, and I do not know why there hasn't been the same amount of men as women. I do not think guys have an advantage, I think the playing field would be fair. But I mean I would so like it if I saw a guy that was really cute cleaning teeth, I'd be there 4 times a year instead of 2 lol.
