Heidi Creselious: The newer models(within the last 5 years), yes. B4 that they were FoundOnRoad dead. Wern't worth the money to fix. But they have upgraded themselves at the factory with different processes for car building so, is much better.
Tatiana Evanosky: Part shouldn't be more than $200, plus an hour or so labor.
Hunter Osterberger: You can always go with a used alt if money is an issue. Try car-part.com. They have tested alts for as low as $25
Amada Greising: If you're on the American Continent, any Rack Attack shop would be able to adapt to your needs and customize based on what you need.
Virgil Menefee: well easy to cal any auto parts store and ask for price of part and call three shops and get a good ideal of what they charge to do it.. id check th ebelt and clean and check cables first then jump it off and go have the charging system check first just to know for sure...and sometimes its not so hard to do your self ask your dad
Refugio Gastineau: I am on my second Hyundai. I bought a 2000 Accent new, put 102,000 miles on it, and sold it to my brother 2 years ago when I bought my new 2005 Elantra. He is still driving the Accent. They are excellent cars. The mileage I got on the Accent was about 30 in the city, 40 on the highway. I get about 25 city, 30-35 hwy in the Elantra, but it has a bigger motor. I highly recommend them.Sibyl Siwik: There are lots available that are a few years old, low mileage, and just off lease. I would buy one, if I needed a car. They get decent gas mileage and use normal sized tires (cheaper to replace). Also, some dealers use them for loaners, so you can find them virtually new at discounted price.
Buddy Ardd: excellent vehicle woulld recommened, cheap dependable nice looking veh only think you must keep up with the maintenence like change tranny fluid every 30,000 mile mile engine oil every 3,000 mile rememeber
Dorine Nurre: Im hearing about! this 10yr warranty but is it for the original owner only or f! or the car itself too?
Elvie Drumgoole: A couple days ago, my car wouldn't start. It sounded like it was trying to though. My father came over and jumped it and it started right away. I now have new battery in it and it worked the last 2 days. Now, it won't start again. Sounds like it is trying. Someone said it sounds like the alternator. So, how much is that going to cost me?
Marco Stolarz: I have an 02 SanteFe with 112K, My Mother has an 03 Sonata (mileage?) I have only two complaints 1. I can only get 16mpg. 2. The electronic control boxes for the transmission are located under the center console in the SUV. The cup holders are located right above them, liquid drips on the control boxes, trans wont shift, $800 to fix (not a warranty item according to the dealer). Other than that, no problems. My SanteFe has given me MUCH better service than my Toyota...Show more
Chauncey Williama: just to buy it 100-200$not sure about installation they aren't ! hard to put in.
Toshia Metzker: I have a 2003 Accent and it has not given me any problems. This is a great car.
Gaston Edgcomb: yes!! duh? to me , when i'm trying to buy a product, 1st, i look at the design. 2nd. perfomance and reliability!! and Recently hyudai did it!! by J,D, power quality, hyundai ranked #3!! jst behind by porsche and lexus! and beat toyota and honda, or gm, or other european i guess. and yes!! i like the accent then honda fit or corrolla! because of design and perfoamnce~ beats them in every perspective! i really like 07 hyundai's design~ it's modernized and simple! so yeah go buy and accent~ and remember the 10 yrs warranty!! with good quality!! (#3)...Show more
Elva Batie: they are good cars but make sure there is a dealership in your area
Ginny Trickett: Buy the Hyundai. I've owned three, including an Accent. Excellent safety rating, best overall warranty, good gas mileage, exceptional value. Only draw back is probably trade! -in or resale, but that is no big deal. Just keep the car for ten year! s because it will easily last that long; just do the scheduled maintenance. My next Hyundai will be a new Santa Fe, and then a Sonata. Sonata's are made in America, in Alabama in fact. Transfer of warranty issue is best answered by a dealer....Show more
Donte Hamme: Hyundai is a really car. I bought an Excel GL brand new in 1988. Needless to say it is still on the road to this day. So says my ex wife. My mom owns a 03 Elantra w/ 5 speed really nice car.
Giovanni Malool: Check the intake air hoses (the big ones coming from air filter and getting connected to Intake Throttle body). Might have one of these 2 hoses cracked. If no crack found, replace the sensor between the 2 hoses (Mass Air Flow sensor).
Misty Vagle: My 2002 hyundai accent stalls after I have been driving for about 25 minutes. It starts right up when I put it in park and turn the key in the ignition. It has been happening for about a month. I had a tune up, but the problem persists. I don'! t notice any other symptoms. Any ideas?
Len Bormes: well im gonna say that your main problem is that your driving a hyundai... the solution would be to get another car :)
Conrad Puleio: get the new elantra if you can afford itthe accent get a all new redesign 1-2 years down the road and you car will be worth even less at that time
Stevie Goldey: I'm looking for a front mounted receiver for my 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe so that I might attached a single rail motorcycle carrier to the front of my SUV (so that i can carry 2 bikes, one on front and one on back for better balance). I'm done some searching and find a lot of front mounted receivers but none (yet) for ht e2001 Santa Fe. Any help would be a great. Thanks!
Craig Virani: if you are an auto-phobe, hyundai has a 10 year warranty so you dont gotta know **** except where your dealer is.
Norma Marsalis: Part is about 125 + core charge Install about 100-200The New battery was what was powering the c! ar not the alternator
Tomeka Hameen: There is a reason why there ! is a ten year warranty. It is getting better but it's not there yet.
Peggy Sandefer: i have a 99 elantra with 140000 miles on it all i have done to it is:oil changeswiper bladesfront right trans axletiresthat has been it and the axle was due to one of the lovely potholes we get here in the northeast...Show more
Lawanna Livsey: I have a new Accent and just love it. It's a classy looking car, gas mileage is great and can't beat the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty.
Kara Tabian: Yeah, the Hyundais from about 3-5 years ago are ok, but the ones before were horrible. The newer ones have very good reliability now.
