Dee Depung: Toyota is the best brand car you could by..They last FOREVER and will go 300,00 plus miles. Im telling you ... It depends on what you like though. If you like sporty or big or what... 4 runners are a nice suv and toyota celicas are a cute sporty car thats good on gas. Look out for cars that get good gas mileage cause Im sure that will go back up sometime soon. You need to look around, pick out a few that you like... Then research on them and read what other people think that already have that vehicle. Good luck!...Show more

They have 2 best selling sedans: The Malibu (North American Car of the Year last year and a Car and Driver favorite) and the Impala (Best selling Domestic name plate of all! time). The Chevy Cobalt SS is often declared the best performer for the money ($25,000 and over 250hp). The Cobalt XFE also gets 36mpg. The Chevy trucks (Silverado) and SUVs (Tahoe/Suburban) are often named some of the best trucks out there. Chevy has more 30mpg+ cars than any other manufacturer including Honda and Toyota. They also have the best flex fuel technology.Chevy has a great history with such cars as the Corvette, Impala, Caprice, C/K and many more. Omar Phipps: Those who think japanese cars are better than american - you are 100% wrong. It's this myth that has caused GM and subsequently americans great losses. Americans have been making cars for more than a hundred years, they're not idiots . I've owned american cars and I should honestly say that they are as reliable and run as long as their japanese counterparts. I've seen several GM's run for 250+ when properly maint! ained. I've seen equal number of cases of GM and japanese engi! nes fail early due to improper maintenance. I've never seen Korean cars ( Kia. Daewoo, hyundai) run more than 130K. I've seen 2006 honda accords fail on transmission The best car in your case would be the one that fits your needs and has good user reviews. Forget about where it was made. As far as reliability is concerned, it all depends on how you drive and maintain it...Show more
